Individual Therapy
Individual therapy sessions can be provided to children with speech and language delays, either in school or at home. Therapy sessions consist of engaging and therapeutic activities that target speech and language goals. Therapy is tailored specifically to your child's needs. A speech notebook will be provided to your child and speech activities will be added to the book weekly. This book will serve as a tool to review and reflect your child’s progress.
Social Group Therapy
Pragmatic skills groups are designed for children who struggle with social language skills. Social language skills include nonverbal language, perspective taking, and flexible thinking. Children who have difficulty with peer interactions at school, parties, and play dates will often benefit from an appropriately matched pragmatic group. Pragmatic groups are a fun way for children to practice social skills in a safe environment.
About Diana
Diana has been working in the field of speech-language pathology for over 10 years. Since receiving her master's degree from New York University in 2009, she has worked in both private practice and school based settings. She specializes in working with children diagnosed with a wide range of receptive and expressive language delays, pragmatic/social disorders, articulation impairment, apraxia, hearing impairment, and autism spectrum disorders.
Diana is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of the children that she works with through engaging and beneficial therapy techniques. Diana is trained in PROMPT therapy as well as oral-motor based therapy techniques. She is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the State of New Jersey.
Diana lives with her husband and two young children in Basking Ridge, NJ. She is available to work with your child at their preschool, daycare, or in your home.

Evaluations
The goal of the evaluation is to assess your child’s speech and language abilities in order to determine if a communication difficulty exists. The evaluation process consists of a parent questionnaire and formal testing procedures as well as play based and informal testing. After the evaluation, a comprehensive report is generated. This report includes formal and informal testing results, an in-depth assessment of your child’s communication strengths and weaknesses, recommendations for therapeutic intervention, and measurable therapy goals.
